Day 1 USA - Changsha

Board an international flight bound for China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Changsha

Arrive in Changsha. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3 Changsha - Zhangjiajie

After breakfast drive to Zhangjiajie. We visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park by the world's longest cable car, view the road with 99 sharp turns that snakes up Tianmen Mountain. Tour Tianmen Cave (aka Gate to the Heaven), it is the world’s highest cave of its kind. Ghost Plank Road, it is famous for its hanging along the cliff line of the Ghost Cave. The length of the path is 1,600 m with an average elevation of 1400 m. Glass Walkway, the enterprising people can experience the magic glass plank road step by step heart-pounding (including overshoes).  Enjoy the famous Hunan cuisine for dinner. Then transfer to Wulingyuan.

Day 4 Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, we take the elevator at Bailong and visit Yuan Jiajie Scenic Spot  for sightseeing of Back Garden, Mihun Stage, the First Bridge in the world, and Hallelujah mountains. then by Eco-car to Emperor Mountain scenic area, sightseeing for Helong Park, Fairy Maiden Present Flowers etc,and come down by cable car.  Then to Ten-miles-Gallery, sightseeing of Herb Picking Old Man, Three Sisters Peak etc.

Day 5 Zhangjiajie - Fenghuang

Drive to Fenghuang (Phoenix Town). Fenghuang is located on the western boundary of Hunan Province in an area of outstanding natural beauty where mountains, water and blue skies prevail. Fenghuang is Chinese for 'Phoenix', the mythical bird of good omen and longevity that is consumed by fire to be re-born again from the flames. Fenghuang (Phoenix Town) is so called as legend has it that two of these fabulous birds flew over it and found the town so beautiful that they hovered there, reluctant to leave. Upon entering the town the visitor will be impressed by its air of mystery, elegance and primitive simplicity. This is a world that is dominated by the color green. The mountain slopes are covered with green foliage, the fields are green and even the Tuo River reflects the greenery. The bridges over the water and unique houses built on stilts display a harmony that is so often portrayed in traditional Chinese paintings. Fenghuang is a wonderful example of what villages were like prior to the onset of modernization. Tonight we will have a local flavor dinner.

Day 6 Fenghuang - Mt. Fanjing

Drive to Zhenyuan Ancient Town. En route, visit Mt. Fanjing noted as one of the 5 natural reserves in China under UNESCO Protection (including round-trip cable way). It is a holy site for Buddhism and their adherents. As a saying goes, it is nature that shaped the fantastic scenery of Fanjingshan, and it is Buddhists that made the mountain well-known. ‘Fanjing‘ in Chinese, means a pure land for Buddhists. The serene environment allows visitors to feel their minds purified. Its established reputation as a sacred land of Buddhism can be traced back to the 16th century. In the mountain there are numerous Buddha temples, of which the temples worshiping Maitreya and Sakyamuni are the most famous. Each year, thousands of adherents flock there to worship.
 Climb  to the Golden Summit (94 meters high ) , climbing along the winding mountainous road to the summit is a rewarding pleasure. You will see stone carving on the cliff , rock climbing on the iron chain of the palace platform, worship the Guanyin Grottoes, through the Golden Knife Gorge, You will worship Now Buddha at Sakyamuni Temple , Future Buddha at Maitreya Temple and get the bird-eye view of mountains from the summit.

Day 7 Mt. Fanjing - Zhenyuan - Xijiang Miao Village

Drive to Zhenyuan Ancient Town, you will have a boat ride on Wuyang river, the scenic spot is linked by the Wuyang River system. The main body of Karst, land-form wonders; Pinghu waterfall, valley forest landscape; Yunxiu mountain, deep ravine landscape, general post, malachite, Triassic water, and so on, it is called Small Three Gorges.Visit Black Dragon Cave which is the combination of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. It is a group of ancient buildings covering an area of nearly 20 thousand square meters, the overall characteristic of this group of buildings is: stand by the mountain, and stick to the wall. In ancient times, the skillful craftsmen built the building on the cliff and the entrance of the cave according to the shape of the mountain and the terrain. The lower part of the house is spacious and spacious, and the upper layer is gradually small. Some of the buildings are directly out of the mountain, and the following are supported by a dozen giant trees.The whole complex is a combination of stone cliff, cave, ancient wood and vine. The perfect combination of the architectural art, sculpture art and natural scenery. Tour the Zhenyuan Ancient Town. You will have a special feeling while going into those dark old alleys, walking on the road of the stone slab and touching the towering walls. Then continue our drive to Xijiang Miao village. Have a night view of Xijiang. Dinner with Miao people’s long table banquet.

Day 8 Xijiang Miao Village - Libo

Visit  Xijiang Miao Village, it is the largest Miao village in China, and is the main gathering place of the fifth great migration of the Miao nationality. The wooden stilted buildings of the 1285 Miao families are built on the mountain.It is known as "Miao Capital" because of their large number of Miao people. It is known as "Miao ethnic culture art museum", which is a "living fossil" of Miao nationality's history and culture. Enjoy the folk performance. Then drive to Libo. Visit  Daqikong Scenic Attraction. It is located in the south of Libo county, 25 kilometers away from the county. It is named after a seven-hole bridge on Mengtang River. The bridge is 7 meters high, 4.5 meters wide and 35 meters long. You will enjoy the original forest, canyon, underground lake .

Day 9 Libo - Guiyang

Visit Xiaoqikong Scenic Attraction noted for its Karst topography, it takes its name from a stone bridge, the most impressive is its green. The mountains are green, the water is green, and the trees are green. In particular, the lake is green and clear, you can enjoy the Wolong Waterfall, Cuigu Waterfall , Laya Waterfalls, 68 level folded water falls, Aquatic Stone Forest, Small Seven-Hole Bridge  etc. Then continue our drive to Guiyang. Explore Qingyan Ancient Town. Qingyan Ancient Town  is located at the southern rural area of Guiyang City, it was originally built in the year 1378 during Ming Dynasty. It is one of the most famous ancient towns in Guizhou. Going through the archway, along the walking roads and steps constructed with flagstones, there are old architectures on both sides of the streets. All of them are with black bricks and grey tiles, carved wooden window and doors, which makes the street antique.

Day 10 Guiyang - Huangguoshu Waterfall - Anshun

This morning, we explore Huangguoshu Waterfall noted as the largest  waterfallin China, 78 meters high and 101 meters wide. 
In the afternoon, we explore Dragon Palace Cave noted as an underground water cave and will have a boat ride inside for 30 minutes. It is known as  "China's only water cave". The dragon palace water cave is 15 kilometers long, the crown of the country. The inside of the cave is more delicate and exquisite than the cave in the north. It is more mysterious and strange than the cave in the south, and its cavernous structure is like the palace of the dragon king in the myth. Stay over night at Anshun.

Day 11 Anshun - Zhijin - Guiyang

After breakfast, we visit Tianlong Old Han Chinese Village noted for their traditional opera, Dixi and stone architecture. The performers will put wooden mask on their forehead. The local villagers still follow the living habits and cultural customs of Ming dynasty, they are called "Tun Pu". Tun Pu folk art is extremely rich, the most representative is called "the drama living fossil" , it is simple and rough, the performance is vivid. Then we visit Zhijing Cave noted as the largest cave in China. The cave is filled with stalagmites, stone pillars, stone towers, stone flowers, stone sprouts, curling stones, cloud disk, plum blossom fields, pearl fields, and stone DAMS, etc. More than 40 kinds of deposits, forming a variety of Karst landscapes. The tunnels are crisscrossed, the stone curtains are like from the sky with  different color The smoke from the underground river is misty and inscrutable. Dinner with Miao people’s cuisine: Sour soup fish in hotpot.

Day 12 Guiyang - USA

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.
